THE CONTEXT
Tasked with conceptualizing and developing a visual campaign strategy that would capture the warmth and excitement of the holiday season through captivating and luxurious imagery.
I led the creative execution of this project as a core function of my role at Wine Enthusiast. Responsible for the entire lifecycle of photography from conceptual development (visual concepts, moodboards, and styling briefs) to pre- and post-production oversight, including managing shot lists, scheduling, product logistics, print flatplans, and catalog planning.
THE APPROACH
The focus was on crafting a visual campaign that successfully channeled approachable luxury. Rich colors and textures were utlizied to create a seductive and refined look. To give the products prominence, I intigrated dramatic, theatrical lighting that cast a literal spotlight on them, making them the “star” of the holiday season. The set aesthetic was kept mature and minimal, using only subtle hints of holiday propping to ensure the products were never overshadowed and remained the focus of the shot.
THE OUTCOME
Working closely with the photographers, we executed high-quality conceptual, still, and lifestyle visuals that were featured across all print and digital marketing assets throughout the season.
