Haze Creative (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a design studio based in New Jersey, USA. This policy explains what information we collect through hazecreative.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

We have kept this policy short on purpose: we collect very little, we use it only to run this studio, and we never sell it.

1. Information We Collect

Browsing information, collected automatically

Like most websites, we use cookies and an analytics tool to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that referred you, and general information about your device, browser, and approximate location (derived from your IP address).

Information you give us

If you contact us, we collect what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, business name, and message. If you enter a contest or other promotion we run, we collect the information the entry form asks for.

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, sensitive personal information — such as government ID numbers, financial account details, health information, or precise geolocation.

2. How We Use Information

• To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve our design work and services
• To respond when you contact us
• To occasionally tell you about our design services if you have expressed interest in them — for example, by inquiring about a project, signing up for updates, or entering a promotion (see Sections 3 and 4)
• To run contests and promotions: to administer entries, contact entrants, assess eligibility, and select and notify winners (see Section 3)

That is the full list. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to running this studio.

3. Contests and Promotions

From time to time we may run a contest, giveaway, or similar promotion. Information you submit to enter is used to run the promotion, contact you about it, and assess your eligibility to participate or win.

By providing your information to participate, you agree that Haze Creative may contact you for the purposes of the contest, and may communicate with you in the future from time to time — directly or through advertising to your business — about our services. You can opt out of those future communications at any time (see Section 5) without affecting your contest entry.

A specific promotion may have its own official rules. If those rules conflict with this policy, the official rules govern for that promotion.

4. Interest-Based Advertising

If you have expressed interest in our services, we may occasionally advertise those services to you. We advertise only our own services — we do not serve advertising for anyone else, and we do not allow third parties to use information collected on this Site to advertise their products to you.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising and marketing communications at any time, as described in Section 5.

5. Your Choices

Opting out of marketing

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at privacy [at] hazecreative [dot] com and ask to opt out of marketing or interest-based advertising, and we will stop.

Cookies

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. The Site will still work if you do, though our analytics will no longer count your visits.

Access and deletion

We are a small studio, and we handle requests personally. Email us and we will make reasonable efforts to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.

6. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or any other independent use. There are two limited exceptions:

• Service providers. Companies that help us operate the Site — such as web hosting, analytics, and email tools — process data on our behalf and only for that purpose.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or as needed to protect our legal rights or the safety of others.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, then delete or de-identify it. Contest and promotion information is kept as long as needed to run the promotion and to meet any record-keeping obligations that apply to winners.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site is a professional design portfolio and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. For material changes, we will post a notice on the Site.
