THE CONTEXT
Jambu Footwear launched a new collection of plant-based shoes and needed a comprehensive visual framework. Completed during my time with Jambu, I served as the lead designer in creating a new sub-brand identity, updated footwear packaging, and Art Direction for the campaign photography.Â
THE APPROACH
The creative strategy for the logo focused on merging two core concepts: a leaf (for plant-based) and the sole of a foot (for footwear). This led to a logo family that clearly embodied the theme of sustainability and biodegradable design. In order to maintain a cohesive visual system with the Jambu brand, I expanded their existing palette to develop a new color scheme for the collection. To visually communicate the benefits, I designed an eye-catching infographic that translated complex features into easily digestible content, all while maintaining Jambu’s playful brand tone.
THE OUTCOME
The comprehensive design package—including the logo, packaging, and campaign direction—was utilized in a successful marketing initiative. This effort effectively launched the new collection to retailers and buyers, generating awareness and excitement for the sustainable products.
